Corsight runs in your browser. There is no script to add, no build to change, and nothing for the site you are reviewing to know about.

Which browsers does it work in?
Chrome, and Chromium browsers that support the side panel. Corsight is a Manifest V3 extension that lives in the panel beside the page. Firefox and Safari are not supported yet.
Do I need to add anything to my site?
No script, no tag, no build change. The overlay is drawn by the extension in your own browser, which is also why it works on sites you do not own.
What happens when the page changes?
Every comment records how to find its element again. When the element is still there, the comment lands exactly on it. When the page has moved on, the comment degrades to an approximate position rather than disappearing, and a comment whose element is gone stays readable in the panel.
Who can see my comments?
Comments belong to a project inside your organisation. A public project is visible to everyone in the organisation; a private one only to the people invited to it. That rule is enforced by the database on every read, not by the panel.
Does it work on localhost and staging?
Yes, including pages behind a login. Corsight comments on the page your browser has already loaded, so anything you can open, you can comment on.
Why we're building this
The work moved. The feedback didn't.
Product development used to be a relay. Product wrote the spec, design drew it, engineering built it, and each one handed the work to the next.
That is not how it goes now. The first version of almost anything is a prototype or a proof of concept — something running at a URL by the end of the week. Product, design and engineering all look at the same running thing on the same day. The handover is not the work any more. The iteration is.
Every tool we have for commenting on that work still assumes the work is a file. You can point at a frame in a design file. You cannot point at the build on staging. So the feedback becomes a paragraph in Slack describing a rectangle, and somebody has to translate it back into the thing you were both looking at.
Corsight puts the comment on the running thing. That is the whole idea.
